About “RéalISE Coaching”
Who am I?
Let me introduce myself quickly: my name is Virginie, I’m 39 years old, I’m married and I have two children. I am Belgian and I am currently living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
After a career as a consultant, I’ve decided to start a coaching activity for women with a specific goal: give the opportunity to women to reflect on their lives and refocus on what really matters to them.
My motto is “Everything starts with you!”. I truly believe that everyone can create for herself a happy and fulfilling life. But it starts with you, with knowing yourself and taking care or yourself.
I am a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and ICF accredited Associate Certified Coach (ACC).
I am a member of ICF (the International Coach Federation) and ACSM (the Association of Coaching Supervisors and Mentors of Malaysia) and an alumni of the Cherie Blair foundation.
Why did a become a coach?
It’s a wish I have had for a few years, since I’ve been helped myself by a coach to avoid a professional burn-out …
This coaching journey made me discover who I really was and taught me how important it is to know yourself, your values, your talents but also your limits.
Having been coached had such an impact on me that I decided to become one myself.
Why coaching for women ?
Ohhh, for many reasons!
Because I am one!
Because I know it’s not easy to combine all the roles … (being a mum, a wife, a sister, a friend, a professional…) while not forgetting to be yourself!
Because I’ve been studying and working in a rather male-environment and I’ve realized that it is not obvious for a woman to make choices and find their own work-life balance.
Because many women, despite having enormous qualities, have the tendency to underestimate and doubt themselves.
But most of all, because this is close to my heart; I believe in women and I want each of us to blossom and use our full potential.
Why online coaching ?
I think it’s just fantastic to be able to reach a wide audience and support women all around the world!
I appreciate online coaching can at first glance seem impersonal while coaching is actually very personal. It is indeed crucial that a connection, a proximity, a kind of “click” occurs between the coach and the coachee.
As I have experienced online coaching both as a coach and as a coachee, I can assure you that if you get along with the coach, it works as well online as it does face-to-face.
I actually think that online coaching creates a safe distance that helps the coaching journey as the coachee dares to reveal herself fully …
