Coaching for managers

Congratulations — you’ve become a manager!
You can be proud of this step forward. It reflects your journey, your skills, and your commitment.
It’s an important milestone in your career.
But here’s the thing…
Becoming a manager isn’t something you just figure out on the fly.
Now you’re expected to lead a team, understand colleagues who think and work differently from you, handle complex human situations, and navigate unexpected reactions.
You quickly realize that it’s no longer just about doing your job well or being an expert in your field.
You’re stepping into a whole new role—
one that requires you to build your own leadership style.
And maybe you’re doing all of this with no real training, no clear framework, and few solid reference points.
So, you do your best.
But it’s draining. It takes a lot of energy.
And deep down, you feel like there must be another way—
… a way that’s more fluid,
… more authentic,
… more aligned with who you are.
That’s exactly what this coaching program offers you:
👉 Help you clarify your leadership posture
👉 Give you practical tools to fully embrace your new role
👉 Support you in building a strong, authentic management style that truly reflects you
With the “Define Your Leadership Style” journey,
I’ll support you through this transition into your new role as a manager, helping you build a leadership posture that truly reflects who you are—clear, confident, and aligned with your values.

What you will experience during this “Define your managerial style” journey
A two-part individual coaching program designed to help you refocus, assert your leadership posture, and build a solid foundation in your relationship with your team:
“Me and my new role as a manager”
“Me and my team”
An approach that combines clarity, confidence, and action.
Me and my new role as a manager
In this first phase, you take time for yourself.
You take stock, listen to yourself, and reconnect with yourself.
You give new meaning to your role, starting from who you really are.

1. I clarify my position and my challenges
You take the time to reflect on yourself, explore your personality and talents, while becoming aware of the challenges associated with your new role as a manager (such as difficulty letting go, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, etc.).
You identify concrete actions to overcome these obstacles.
2. I know myself and take care of myself
You learn to know yourself better: what recharges your batteries, what excites you, but also what makes you vulnerable. You explore how you function, what drives you, and your warning signs. You establish personalized rituals to maintain your well-being on a daily basis.

3. I manage my time and priorities
You’ll explore new ways to organize yourself and prioritize your tasks. You’ll learn to say no and delegate effectively, so you can maintain a sustainable balance between professional demands and your personal life.
4. I navigate uncertainty and change
You’ll strengthen your ability to embrace uncertainty, handle the unexpected, and stay grounded in times of change. You’ll learn to find the right balance between what needs to be managed—and what you can let go of.

Me and my team
Once you’re more grounded in your role, you can turn toward your team with greater clarity and confidence.
In this second phase, you’ll build strong relationships, create a safe and structured framework, and bring meaning and momentum to the collective.

5. I get to know my team members and recognize their value
You’ll take the time to truly understand the people in your team—their personalities, sources of motivation, comfort zones, and areas for growth.
From there, you’ll learn how to adapt your leadership style and, whenever possible, organize work in a way that plays to each person’s strengths and preferences.
6. I create a clear and trusting framework
You’ll learn how to define and communicate a healthy, transparent work environment—roles, expectations, and spaces for open dialogue.
You’ll lay the foundation for effective collaboration, where everyone can find their place and feel safe.

7. I communicate with assertiveness
You’ll learn to express yourself clearly and respectfully—to speak your truth without apologizing or imposing.
You’ll explore different ways of communicating based on each team member’s personality and needs.
You’ll also practice giving constructive feedback and handling disagreements with calm and confidence.
8. I create a positive and lasting team dynamic
You’ll discover simple ways to foster collaboration, encourage authentic communication, and create an inspiring work environment.
You’ll learn how to spark collective energy that motivates the team to move forward—together, with both joy and commitment.

happy clients!
I met Virginie when I was at a cross-roads in my career and needed direction. Virginie was my sounding board and objective counsel providing me with practical and helpful tools to incorporate into my day-to-day.
Throughout my 12 weeks of working closely with Virginie, I gained strength of conviction, a deeper understanding of self and mindset growth which puts me in good stead to chart out my career and life moving forward.
Working with Virginie is amazing and I would highly recommend her to any ambitious woman that is looking for support in a professional or life transition, to find inner balance or a fulfilled purposeful career. She is able to create a safe, supportive environment which is important for growth and self awareness.
Virginie helped me get on track and feel empowered that I can do what I need to do, by creating a beautiful space for me to organise my vision and put it into a tangible plan. Our one-on-one sessions allowed me to freely express my goals, ideas, insecurities, and hopes so that together we could figure out a special plan to get me where I want to be. Thank you!
Her coaching has provided me with the confidence to prioritise my professional and personal development, and to make changes in internal thought processes that are fundamental to effectively managing my team and my own work.
At times, I wonder if she has ever had a more ‘resistant-to-self-change’ client than myself. Her patience, exercises and tools, tough love, encouragement and support are always provided at the right time, and in the right measure.
I am regularly surprised by how much I have absorbed from working with Virginie and our invaluable sessions; each and every time, there is something to learn from and to grow with. Virginie has both guided and challenged me to find my way, and to believe in myself.

5 “drivers” that hinder our personal and professional development… – Article
What is a "driver" ? It is an order that we give ourselves or that is given to us. It is little voice telling us ‘I must’ or ‘I have to”’. We learn about these drivers most often in childhood. Sometimes they are explicit instructions: ‘Hurry up, there's no time!” So...
